Experience our centuries-old traditional 4-day festival of German Christmas. There’s a stirring candlelight procession Thursday evening, onstage entertainment and lots of huts on the square and along King Street plus vendors throughout Kitchener City Hall on the 1st and 2nd floor.
Onstage enjoy free entertainment by choirs, bands & dance groups. Plus there are trains, folkloric characters, live nativity, Kinderecke, kids crafts, puppet show, Hurdy Gurdy Klaus, blacksmiths, our own post office and appearances by Christkindl! Meet butchers, bakers and candlestick makers, enjoy some sweet and savoury foods of the season, and shop for hand-made crafts, art, toys, clothing, ornaments and more. You can even share some hot Glühwein (mulled wine). Once again we were awarded Top 100 Festival & Events in ON for 2018.
